In a moment, my world was flipped upside down, and I was forced to decide whether to continue working in my six-figure pharmaceutical career or stay home and care for my child.
My choice was simple, but it was not easy.
It meant leaving a large salary, bonuses, free car, and benefits. All things we needed at the time, and I was panicked about how we would make it work.
Luckily, not long after, I found an answer to my prayers in home-based entrepreneurship. It gave me the required time and flexibility to care for my daughter while earning an income that contributed significantly to our household, making the impact of leaving my career less financially painful.
I'll never forget the fear I felt getting the phone call from my husband that our checking account was in the negatives after paying a major hospital bill. Then the relief knowing my paycheck was coming the next day preventing us from having to dip into savings or use credit.
This is the moment I fell in love with our business model and committed to helping parents create unique ways to prioritize their family's needs without sacrificing financial stability and choices.
I proceeded to build a network marketing team of over 250 with thousands of customers and reaching the top of my company in only two years.
Then the world shut down and everything changed. The way I had grown was no longer working.
Earned a D1 Soccer Scholarship
I was spinning my wheels, doing more and more of the same and it began to take its toll on me physically and mentally. I became fearful that this was the way it would always be because while I loved my business, I did not love how I was doing business, and I knew I couldn't keep up the pace.
However, I had faith in myself and knew there had to be another way.
